A lot of times, when I want to take pictures of the girls, I think of it like in the same way as when I take photos for other people. I think about outfits, locations, specific shots I want to get, etc. And sometimes, that seems like too much work and I don't even end up getting the camera out of its bag. So, I'm trying something new. At least once a week, I'd like to take 5 minutes and do a little mini shoot with one or both of the girls. Sometimes I'll take them in our house and sometimes outside. Sometimes I'll get some great photos and sometimes all I'll get is two crying children. Either way, they will be memory pictures and even a picture of a fussy baby or a screaming toddler is better than no picture at all, right? :)
Since today is a holiday, Chris was home and he took some photos of me with Quinn. These are so special to me since I am normally the one taking the photos. I also managed to grab one of him with Quinn while I was changing some settings on the camera. Lily was napping, so she missed out on the photos this week but I figure we have about 10,000 photos of us with just Lily so it is nice to get some of us with just Quinn too. :) So here are the pictures from our first 5 minute photo session! :)
